Host Careers Launches Job Portal Service for the Web Hosting Industry
November 9, 2006 - Host Careers (http://www.hostcareers.com), a newly developed resource for jobseekers in the Web hosting industry, announced today it is now accepting new job applications and listings, currently available at no charge.
The site, which has been in development for several months, offers a one of a kind job-portal service focused exclusively on the Web hosting industry. Jobs in a multitude of categories, ranging from customer support representatives to datacenter technicians, will be available to applicants.
“Host Careers is the culmination of countless discussions we have had over the past several years in regards to the future of the industry,” said Eric Radtke, Host Careers lead developer. “We’ve developed a central, organized job portal for hosts. There’s no question that our site will finally streamline the stressful and often arduous task of finding qualified and experienced hosting professionals.”
Users can search for jobs with an array of criteria, including zip code, job type, keyword and company name. Jobseekers can also post a resume without applying for a specific job, allowing employers to search a pool of applicants when looking for new employees.
“Our site is empowering—both for jobseekers and employers—because we offer features that significantly improve the job matching process. Cardinally, jobseekers can use our online WYSIWYG resume-building tool, and can even attach additional relevant files for prospective employers to review,” said Radtke.
Host Careers also offers tools such as Job Alerts and a free job-search newsletter.
